International Cell at Kaveri University

To drive the university’s global engagement strategy, Kaveri University has established a dedicated Office of International Relations (OIR). The International Cell serves as the central coordinating body for all international academic collaborations, student and faculty mobility, admissions of foreign nationals, and global outreach initiatives. The Cell ensures a seamless experience for international students, from application to integration into campus life.

International Student Admissions

Kaveri University welcomes applications from foreign nationals, Persons of Indian Origin (PIO), Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), and Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) across all undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs.

Admission Procedure

Online Application through the university’s international admissions portal
Submission of scanned copies of:
- Academic transcripts (translated to English, if needed)
- Passport bio page
- Statement of Purpose (SOP)
- Letters of Recommendation (for PG/Ph.D.)

Review and evaluation by the academic admission committee
Offer of Admission
Fee payment and issuance of Provisional Admission Letter
Visa processing and student onboarding

Eligibility Criteria

Undergraduate Programs: Completion of 12 years of formal schooling with equivalent grades in qualifying examinations.
Postgraduate Programs: Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline from a recognized university with minimum required GPA or percentage.
D. Programs: Master’s degree in relevant field with a strong research proposal.
English language proficiency is mandatory. Acceptable scores:
- IELTS ≥0
- TOEFL iBT ≥ 75
- Exemption if previous education was in English

Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, Germany – Europe’s leading applied research organization, known for its innovation-driven collaborations with academia and industry.
Kansas State University, USA – A top-tier research university recognized for its contributions to science, technology, and global education.

These partnerships will open new avenues for collaborative research, faculty and student exchange programs, and joint academic initiatives that benefit our university community and contribute to the global knowledge economy.

In addition, three more international MoUs that include

Western Sydney University, Australia
University of Florida, USA

are currently in the final stages of approval and are expected to be completed by the end of this month. These upcoming collaborations will further expand Kaveri University’s global network and enrich our academic and research environment.
