Introduction

In accordance with the provisions of the Right to Information Act, 2005, Kaveri University upholds the values of transparency, accountability, and good governance by facilitating citizens’ access to information related to its functions, operations, and decision-making processes.The RTI Act empowers citizens to request information from public authorities, thereby promoting openness in the working of every public institution. Kaveri University, as a public institution, complies with this legislation by designating appropriate authorities to process RTI applications and appeals.

Procedure to File an RTI Request

Appeals and Grievances

If an applicant is unsatisfied with the response or does not receive a response within the stipulated time, they may file a first appeal to the Appellate Authority within 30 days of the decision or lapse.
