The youngest university in Telangana State, Kaveri University spans 100 acres on the outskirts of Hyderabad along the Konda Pochamma Reservoir in Gowraram, Wargal Mandal, Siddipet District. In accordance with the National Education Policy 2020, Kaveri University is a ‘Multidisciplinary Education and Research University.’

Founded in 2024, with the mission to explore the physical world collectively, the university aims to expand into 14 colleges offering more than 40 subjects in diverse streams of study to improve the quality of life. Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Doctoral, and Post-doctoral programs and courses, including Agriculture, Horticulture, Agricultural Engineering & Technology, Food Science & Technology, Community Science, Basic Sciences, Humanities & Social Sciences, Agribusiness Management, and Veterinary programs, are offered. Each college is supported by 14 specialized ‘Centres of Excellence,’ which provide advanced education, training, and research opportunities for students.
