The B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) is a four-year program divided into eight semesters, comprising a total of 163 credits. The curriculum includes a balanced mix of core courses, electives, laboratory work, and project-based learning, designed to progressively build students’ technical knowledge and practical skills.
Semesters 1–2: Foundational Learning: Emphasis on core subjects such as Mathematics, Physics, and introductory courses in Computer Science, including programming fundamentals and data structures.
Semesters 3–4: Core Computing Disciplines: Focused study of essential computing topics including software engineering, database management systems, operating systems, and computer networks.
Semesters 5–6: Advanced Topics and Electives: Introduction to specialized and elective courses in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Cybersecurity, and other emerging domains.
