Dr. Ravi Kumar Chandu is an accomplished academician, researcher, and administrator with over 27 years of experience in engineering education. Throughout his academic career, he has made significant contributions to teaching, research, curriculum development, academic administration, and institutional quality initiatives. He has actively served on numerous academic and administrative committees across reputed engineering institutions, contributing to institutional development and academic excellence.
He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Rayalaseema University, Kurnool. His research contributions include numerous publications in reputed national and international journals and conference proceedings. He has also presented research papers at several prestigious conferences and has served as a Session Chair at international conferences, demonstrating his active engagement with the global research community. Currently, Dr. Ravi Kumar Chandu serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Kaveri University, Hyderabad. He is actively involved in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses, mentoring student projects, guiding research activities, curriculum design, and promoting innovation, research, and industry-oriented learning.
He is a Life Member of several renowned professional organizations, including the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), International Association of Engineers (IAENG), and the Computer Society of India (CSI). His teaching and research interests encompass a wide range of emerging areas, including Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Image Processing, Python Programming, Computer Vision, Deep Learning, and Intelligent Computing.
