An accomplished academic leader and instrumentation engineer, I hold an M. Tech from the prestigious National Institute of Technology, Calicut, and bring over two decades of rich and diverse experience to the field of Technical Education. My professional journey commenced in the high-stakes research and development environment of the Defense Research and Development Laboratory (DRDL), where I honed my skills as an Instrumentation Engineer, cultivating a disciplined, solution-driven mindset that continues to guide my approach to challenges. For the past eighteen years, I have been deeply entrenched in academia, steadily rising through the ranks at Vignan’s Institute of Management & Technology for Women—an Autonomous institution approved by AICTE, affiliated to JNTUH, and proudly accredited by both NBA and NAAC with an A+ grade. I served as the Head of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, a role in which I have been instrumental in ensuring seamless administrative and academic governance while extending unwavering support to the Principal in steering the institution toward sustained excellence.
Beyond administrative leadership, my tenure at the institute has been marked by a steadfast commitment to institutional growth and infrastructure development. I have played a pivotal role in the establishment and commissioning of all departmental laboratories from their inception, and notably, spearheaded the installation and erection of a 50kW on grid solar power plant, reinforcing the institute’s commitment to sustainable energy solutions. My contributions extend deeply into the accreditation landscape, having served as a vital member of the Accreditation Committee, where I was actively involved in the meticulous preparation of documents required for NBA, NAAC, JNTUH, and AICTE affiliations. In times of institutional strain, I have consistently emerged as a frontline problem-solver, tackling complex issues with tact, resilience, and foresight. My leadership acumen is further reflected in my successful tenure as Convener of National-level technical, cultural, and sports meets for six consecutive years, each of which garnered remarkable acclaim from both management and the student community.
