A highly experienced academic and administrator with over 42 years of service, including 24 years as Professor and 18 years as University Officer. Served in key leadership roles such as Registrar, Director of Extension, Controller of Examinations, Director of Research, Dean (Agriculture, Student Affairs, PG Studies), Director of Industrial & International Programs and Comptroller. An accomplished scholar with 5 books, 6 book chapters, 78 technical bulletins, 201 research papers, and 100 popular articles. Recipient of multiple awards and recognitions (11). Additionally served as a consultant in agricultural solutions, contributing significantly to education, research, and institutional development. He has demonstrated distinguished leadership in academic administration and strategic institutional development, specifically through his tenure as the Director of the Planning, Monitoring & Evaluation (PME) Cell. In this capacity, he was responsible for the formulation of the university’s long-term perspective development plans and the systematic assessment of existing academic programs to ensure pedagogical efficacy. His work involved the rigorous maintenance of institutional data and serving as the primary liaison with statutory and funding bodies such as ICAR, UGC, and NABARD, thereby aligning the university’s mission with national agricultural research and education standards. Beyond strategic oversight, Dr. B. Srinivasulu’s profile reflects a robust commitment to research leadership and multidisciplinary administration. As Principal Scientist and Head of the Dr. YSRHU Horticultural Research Station, he managed complex research agendas and exercised fiscal responsibility as a Drawing and Disbursing Officer (DDO). His diverse administrative portfolio is further highlighted by his contributions as the Director of Industrial and International Programmes and as the University Librarian, where he spearheaded initiatives to optimize intellectual resources and foster global academic collaborations.
