Dr. Santhosh Nallapu is an accomplished educator and researcher in Mathematical Sciences, in the School of Engineering and Technology at Kaveri University, Telangana. Alongside his primary academic and administrative duties, he holds key institutional responsibilities, including Officer-in Charge of Student Activities for engineering students. He previously built extensive academic experience working across prestigious institutions, including Sreenidhi Institute of Science and Technology (SNIST), KLEF (KL Deemed to be University), SRM Institute of Science and Technology, and National Institute of Technology Warangal (NITW).
He earned his Ph.D. in Mathematics from NIT Warangal in 2016, specializing in Bio-Fluid Dynamics with a thesis titled “Two Layer Model for Non-Newtonian Fluid Flows Through Narrow Tubes”. Prior to his doctorate, he completed his M.Sc. in Applied Mathematics at NIT Warangal with First Division with Distinction, where he secured the First Rank in his class. His exceptional academic record was recognized with prestigious accolades, including the N. CH. Pattabhi Ramacharyulu Gold Medal, the K. Appala Raju Memorial Cash Prize, and the Mathematics Alumni Cash Prize. He also holds a B.Sc. degree from Kakatiya University and qualified the All India Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2011) with an All India Rank of 384. With over a decade of dedicated teaching experience in higher education, he has taught a wide spectrum of foundational and advanced Engineering Mathematics courses to undergraduate and postgraduate students. Throughout his academic career across leading technological universities, he has developed and delivered rigorous curricula spanning Calculus, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations, Complex Variables, Numerical Methods, Probability, and Statistics.
His pedagogical approach seamlessly integrates theoretical mathematical principles with practical engineering applications, fostering analytical thinking and problem-solving skills among students while consistently mentoring them for academic excellence. An active researcher in the fields of Bio-Fluid Dynamics, Non-Newtonian Fluid Flows, Magnetohydrodynamics (MHD), Porous Media, and Microcirculation Modeling, He has published 14 research articles in indexed international and national journals (including Elsevier and IOP Publishing series) and presented 6 research papers at major academic conferences. He is a Life Member of prominent professional bodies, including the Indian Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics (ISTAM), The Indian Science Congress Association (ISCA), and the Andhra Pradesh Society for Mathematical Sciences (APSMS). Additionally, he brings strong computational expertise in C, C++, Mathematica, MATLAB, and LaTeX to his teaching and research.
