Mrs. N. Deepthi

N. Deepthi is an Assistant Professor and Gold Medalist in MBA(AgriBusiness Management) with UGC-NET, with a strong academic background in Agribusiness Management and Agriculture. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Agribusiness Management at Karunya Institute of Technology & Sciences, Coimbatore. She completed her M.B.A. in Agribusiness Management from the University of Mysore in 2021, securing the highest CGPA at the university level and receiving two Gold Medals. She also holds a B.Sc. in Agriculture from Singhania University, Rajasthan, completed in 2019. She has around four years of professional teaching experience, having worked as a Teaching Associate at Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University from February 2026 to June 2026 and as an Assistant Professor at Malla Reddy University from November 2022 to January 2026 and BESTI University from June 2022 to November 2022. Her research interests focus on agribusiness, rural development, women’s empowerment, agricultural marketing, and emerging agricultural practices. Her Ph.D. research focuses on a socio-economic analysis of empowerment pathways in rural women’s Self-Help Groups, while her MBA research examined the effect of COVID-19 on the rose export industry in Bangalore. She has published 2 research papers, contributed to 4 book chapters, and authored/co-authored 6 popular articles in the field of agribusiness and agriculture. Her academic achievements include receiving Four Gold Medals in MBA Agribusiness Management, the National Pradhan Mantri Scholarship, and qualifying UGC-NET . She has also participated in several training programmes, workshops, faculty development programmes, and national and international conferences related to agriculture, agribusiness, thesis writing, innovation, sustainable management, digital practices, and entrepreneurship.
