S. Sirisha is a dedicated academician, researcher, and passionate educator with extensive experience in teaching, research, academic coordination, and student development. Her career reflects a strong commitment to academic excellence, student mentoring, institutional development, and creating a supportive learning environment for aspiring professionals. She began her academic career as a Lecturer at P.B. Siddhartha College of Arts and Science and subsequently served as an Assistant Professor at Malla Reddy College of Engineering from 2017 to 2021 and at CMR Technical Campus from 2021 to 2025. During her academic journey, she has actively contributed to teaching, laboratory education, student mentoring, academic activities, and various institutional initiatives. Her doctoral research at GITAM (Deemed to be University) focused on “Copper Catalyzed Click Chemistry Mediated Synthesis and Structure-Activity Relationship Studies of 1,2,3-Triazole Hybrids for Antidiabetic and Anti-tuberculosis Activities.”
Her research interests include synthetic organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, heterocyclic chemistry, and the development of biologically active compounds with potential pharmaceutical applications. Throughout her career, S. Sirisha has taken up various responsibilities as an In-charge and Coordinator, contributing to the effective planning and execution of academic and institutional activities. She has worked closely with faculty members and students in coordinating programmes, mentoring students, supporting laboratory and departmental activities, and facilitating initiatives aimed at improving academic performance, professional skills, and overall student development. Driven by a commitment to quality education, research, student empowerment, and institutional growth, S. Sirisha continues to contribute to the holistic development of students and academic institutions.
